I hope everyone enjoyed a rejuvenating spring break. The arrival of sunny weather has been a delightful change, and we anticipate its continuation. As we enter the final seven weeks of the academic year, our commitment to fostering a strong learning environment remains a priority.
We would like to announce the retirement of Lisa Moon, our esteemed third-grade teacher. We warmly invite the community to celebrate her contributions at a retirement open house on May 9th, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM in the media center.
Before the break, our overall attendance rate was 92%, with third grade leading at an impressive 94%. As we approach the conclusion of the school year, we kindly request your support in ensuring that all students maintain consistent attendance. Thank you for your continued partnership in our educational journey.

PTA News:
We want to congratulate our Book Blitz Team who went on April 2 to the district to compete with 19 other elementary schools. Our team repented Glacier Hills so well! We are so proud of them!
Our next PTA meeting will be this Tuesday, April 15 from 9:15 to 10:15 in the PTA room. Please come and join us!
Our Savers Drive runs this week from Wednesday, April 16th to Friday, April 18th. We are accepting soft items such as clothes, shoes, blankets, towels, stuffed animals, etc. Let us help you with your spring cleaning! There will be drop off locations in front of the school and at the church on Galena during school morning drop off times! Declutter your house and support your school!
