  1. Opening – Welcome!
  2. Approval of Agenda- approved by Dustin Hughes/Kristine Wilson
  3. Approval of Minutes from Feb.- approved by Wendy Buchanan/Kristine Wilson
  4. SCC Chair Update & Calendar- Meghan Shaw gave a quick intro and rundown
  5. Safety Drills Report- Carbon monoxide drill this month was successful/ fire drill also was well done/Avid director was very impressed
  6. Review of council’s stewardship items – Land Trust Funds, TSSA budgets – we are right on track. (see attached budget) we will not need to do any amendments as we are very solidly on track
  7. 2026-2027 plan – goals, input from members, approval vote – we are a very transitional school and need more resources than the average school. We are trying to get the board to look at the actual needs of individual schools rather than the same resources across the board since needs from one school to the next can vary dramatically. We had a discussion on how to more completely engage the community and parents to keep them aware and involved while still respecting that many of them can not be available. There was also some discussion on keeping libby available to kids over the summer. It sounds like it will be available to kids till June to help slow the summer regression. Sarah Heaton makes a motion to vote Stephany Robbins seconds the motion.

  1. Discuss moving up April’s meeting if needed – Motion to change April date Lori Salter, Seconded by Sarah Heaton, we will meet on April 26th instead of the 16th.
  2. Member Concerns/Comments- Wendy Buchannon made a point about report card heads up. So that parents know why kids are getting their grades and they are aware if their kids need support.
