Principal’s Update What a fun, energetic, and action-packed week we had at Glacier Hills! From important safety lessons to festive Halloween traditions, our school was overflowing with spirit and enthusiasm. Red & White Ribbon Week Throughout the week, our students engaged in valuable discussions about keeping safe both in person and online. We matched that focus with plenty of school spirit. Dress-Up Days: Thank you for helping your students participate in neon day, jersey day, and hats/sunglasses day! Skating Party: It was fantastic to see so many of our families coming together to skate and celebrate at Classic Fun Center. Halloween Fun & Pumpkin Decorating We capped off the week with our Halloween festivities and loved seeing all of the creative costumes throughout the building! Most Popular Costume: Coraline easily took the title of the most common costume this year! Pumpkin Decorating Contest: Congratulations to our Kindergarten Team, who won top honors in our faculty pumpkin decorating contest with their hand-painted “Eye Pumpkin”! Reminder: Don’t Forget to “Fall Back”! Daylight Saving Time ends this Sunday! Please remember to set your clocks back one hour on Saturday night so everyone can enjoy that extra hour of sleep and arrive on time for school on Monday morning.Thank you for your ongoing support in making these events so memorable for our students. Have a safe and restful weekend! |
