THE YETI YELL

Glacier Hills is a united community where all learners are awakened to their possibilities.
Hello Glacier Hills Community,
We need your help! We have had several parents and staff members report that the drop off and pick up lanes have seen an increase in unsafe behaviors. Parents are driving too quickly, cutting other parents off, and not watching the crossing guards. Please slow down! Our children’s safety is our number one concern. Drop off and pick up take about 10 minutes at the busiest of times. Please plan for this time and be patient with each other. We are doing our best to move cars quickly. Parents can help us by students being ready to get out of the car as it stops, pulling all the way forward, and watching the teachers as they motion to move forward. Our mission includes being a united community, let’s come together and improve the safety of our students.
Thank you PTA – We would like to thank the PTA for hosting Beach Day to close out our Kindness Week. The students had such a fun time participating in various Beach Day Activities in the gym. Glacier Hills is so lucky to have an amazing PTA!
Parent Teacher Conferences – Scheduling for Parent Teacher Conferences is currently in progress. Conferences will be held on February 28th and 29th in the evening. Please note that school will release at 1:55 PM on Thursday, February 29th and there is no school held on March 1st.
Please sign up for your opportunity to speak to your child’s teachers using Parent Square. Please check your parent square for information from your child’s teacher telling you how and when to sign up for your time soon.
Lost and Found – Our lost and found is overflowing again. We are asking our students to identify their items and take them home, but your help reminding your children to look for their lost items is helpful. We will be donating our lost and found items at the end of next week.
From the PTA:
Our book fair is coming up the end of February! Look for exciting details coming soon!
