Good afternoon, Glacier Hills families,
We would like to extend a huge thank you to the community for making Halloween special for our students. We had so many people line the parade route to cheer us on. We hope this becomes a beloved tradition in our community. Next week will be holding our first ever Veterans Day Assembly. We hope it also becomes a long-standing tradition at Glacier Hills.
Glacier Hills Elementary Veterans Day Assembly
Glacier Hills is proud to honor those in our community who have served in the Armed Forces. We would like to invite students to submit Honor Wall forms for their loved ones that have served (living or deceased), and invite them to join us for a reception and assembly to honor them for their service. The reception will be on November 10th at 9:15 with an assembly to follow at 9:45. Other family members are invited for the Veterans Day assembly, but the Veterans will be sitting in a special seating area.
Forms were sent home last week. You can also see the attached flier and form. Submit your Honor Wall forms for display and RSVPs for the Assembly by Nov 8th.

PTA’s First Spirit Night!
Don’t want to cook? No problem! Head to McDonald’s on 10550 S 1300 E on November 8th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Buy cookies from teachers and staff. You must use the app or the inside kiosks to help earn money for our PTA. You can order on the app and pick up through the drive through, curbside, or come inside. 30% of orders will be donated to Glacier Hills PTA. So download the app, order, come get some dinner, let your kids play at the play place, and enjoy the fun! Can’t wait to see you there!
