We would like to start by saying thank you to our PTA for a wonderful Family Week! There were activities for everyone and even treats to share at home. These activities take so much planning and time from our wonderful volunteers. Glacier Hills is so lucky to have a PTA board that is so dedicated to providing meaningful events for our students and families. Thank you to the PTA as well as the families that took the time to make it a fun week with your family!
Full Day Kindergarten – The Utah legislature recently voted to expand full-day kindergarten options for more students. We are excited to announce all kindergarten classes in Canyons elementary schools will be full day beginning this fall. This means there will no longer be a tuition-based Supplemental Kindergarten program. Glacier Hills made the move to all full day Kindergarten last year using a grant from the state of Utah. The Glacier Hills Kindergarten has never been tuition-based. Next year our Kindergarten will be the same as this year. It will be a free and a full day for all students.

Sweepers needed!! – We need Sweeper‘s to help keep our beautiful new building clean. Sweepers must be at least 14 years old. Sweepers work every weekday after school for $10.73/hour for 2 hours starting at 3:30pm, Monday- Thursday and at 2 pm on Fridays. To apply come in to Glacier Hills main office and fill out an application. If you have any questions please feel free to contact our assistant facility manager Stephanie at 385-479-4321.

Looking for an opportunity to volunteer in the classroom? Help out with the Great Artist activity during the week of March 27-31. We are in need of people to do things as simple as pass out supplies, fill cups with water for our water colors, or even teach the lesson! The link below has all the details and dates.
