  • Crisis Go
  • We have stopped using Crisi Go, we were really struggling with using it with this size school and this many employees.
  • Waiting for Crisis Go to update to help make things easier
  • Problems: Not being able to connect when outside the school, alarms going off when not working at the school and over the weekends,
  • Not drill is an evacuation drill on March 27th.

7. Approval to move Cell Tower money to Principal’s Discretionary fund $2514.04

  • The high schools have opted to decrease how much they get so that elementary schools get more. We would like to move this money in order to help provide for our staff and get them the different things to show appreciation
  • Voting – Unanimous approval

8. Review of council’s stewardship items – Land Trust Funds, TSSA budgets

  • Right on track, orders for start of the year have been placed
  • We have spent our land trust funds – Book machine, kids assentives, mystery science, ST Math
  • All that is still coming out is employee pay,
  • Teachers going to Avid need to be paid for, so the district will be taking from our account for that.

9. Final Report for 2023-2024 school year – Shared at previous meeting, Julie will send out report again.

10. 2025-2026 plan – goals, input from members, review of preliminary data

11. District Focus Items (if any)

  • Crisis Go Update
  • It has fixed the issues with schools sending alerts to other schools
  • Panic buttons (Something that will be rolling out in the future) We are not sure what that will look like at this moment.
  • Armed individuals at schools are being pushed forward. Volunteers have been selected
  • Board meeting will begin to do a study of our school district’s elementary schools and the boundaries of elementary schools. Will not be affecting Glacier Hills.
  • New draft policy will be introduced at the next board meeting in order to handle student device usage in schools (such as cellphones, smartwatches, etc.)
  • When final is drafted it will include disciplinary measures for rule-breaking
  • Next board meeting will be held on –  March 18th, April 1st

12. Members returning?  Not returning – Auri Jennings, Hallie Wilkins, Lisa Moon

13. Member Concerns/Comments

  • If we have volunteers does that affect our drills or our emergency procedures?
  • We do not practice this but will continue working to make our drills successful with everyone involved.
  • When there is not staff at the bus cross it causes problems with our crossing guard at that crosswalk
  • Problem with speeding up Galena
  • Parents are still having kids cross in front of the cars instead of the crosswalk

14. Adjournment

Motion – Kristine Wilson

Seconded – Hallie Wilkins
