1. Opening – Welcome!
2. Attendance:

3. Approval of Agenda – Motion – Lisa Moon, seconded – Kristine Wilson

6. Safety Drills Report – Bomb Threat in November
- Goal 100% accountability with Crisis Go
- December is a hold
- January evacuation fire drill
- Have asked district to help with subs during the drills
- Teachers can take roll for other teachers to help with subs
7. Review of council’s stewardship items – Land Trust Funds, TSSA budgets
- Land trust – payroll on track
- TSSA – book vending machine, items for blizzard blast zone, paid the summer PD
8.USBE Accountability Report Data
- ELA
- Rise grades 3-5
- 40% below, 26% approaching, 21% proficient, 12% highly proficient
- Rise dropped from 44% to 33%
- Working with staff to find reason there was a drop
- Math
- Stayed about the same
- ELL decreased in score
- Added math small groups and seeing growth within the students
- Science
- Stayed about the same
- Stepping up in small group instruction
- Increasing reading at home
9. Avid $600 Trip expense

- Title 1 school in St. George took their scores from 30% to into the 90% range
- Julie Winfree and Jeny Warner travel down to see what they are implementing
- Grades have goals that help their students excel
- Lots of small instruction to help support the core instruction
- Parent components – things like clubs, dog tags, etc.
10. Attendance Policy and Reading Incentive
- Last year was averaging about 80%, Now we are averaging about 93%
- Implemented reading program for at home
- Home reading log sent home every month
- Officially a TSI school
- When looking at the growth of students, Special education students are not growing the rate they expect us to grow at
- Julie has to have 3 meetings a year with District
- Meetings with Special Education teachers
- Looking at data to find out which group is not making enough growth
- What is it going to take to get the students to step up a step?
- Working on a plan to help with the students growth
- Worries about how students are being accommodated in class but then they are tested at grade level. Students cannot complete it since they are overwhelmed
