5. Safety Drills Report – Halley Nelson
- Crisis Go – app pushed by the district. We have to implement it by January. We are ahead of schedule with implementation.
- September – Lockdown drill
- Went well, still learning crisis go
- October – Wednesday 16th, Secure drill
6. Review of council’s stewardship items – Land Trust Funds, TSSA budgets
- Budgets are not available yet, Will give full update when budgets are available
- Bought a book vending machine for school, will be placed down across the hallway from the gym.
7. Safe Walking Routes finalization
- Concerns for the district?
- Construction on Sego Lily made it difficult to for students to walk to school
- Crosswalk not there on Sego Lily, need it put back when construction is done
- Is the crossing guard coming back at Galena and Sego Lily?
- Students walking on Galena to get to streets like Poppy and Amber. No sidewalk available.
8. Digital Citizenship presentation
· Monthly message sent out
· Lessons taught through thrive time and unit in Library
· Digital CItizenship week will be ribbon week

· Phones in backpack, need to be in backpack when on property
· Can wear watches, but once there is a problem it needs to be put in a backpack.

· All elementaries have drills every month

12. District Focus Items (if any)
- Purchasing of new building in Draper

- Specialized courses, too specialized for the school to host it.

- Buses pick up students from schools and take them to Ctech.
- Continued discussions on what this building can be used for

13. Member Concerns/Comments
- Kids at other schools, where schools are not as organized. Grateful that Glacier Hills is as safe and organized.
- Avid night was great, successful
- Teachers planning time
- Teachers advocating for planning time
- Teacher advocates will be including in future Yeti mail
- Soccer goals are being used during recess
- Medium playground is used for grade level recesses and for lunch recess on Fridays
- Can be used as rewards for students
- Halloween Parade
- Nov. 1st is the day celebrations will be held
- Parade will follow same route as past years, will be sent in Yeti Mail
